How many would like to have an option to choose Monday to start the week in the Event Calendar? Now it's fixed with Sunday as first day of the week

I would prefer Monday to start the week also.

We've had an event calendar in Jamroom since 2005 or so, and this is the first time anyone has ever asked for the calendar to start on Monday. I believe it is pretty much universal that calendars start with Sunday.

What is the reasoning for having a calendar start on Monday? Just curious.

For some reason it is different in different countries, for example I have never had a paper calendar that did not start the week with Monday.

Yes, and here in Sweden we start our week with Monday.

Ok, I'm not a religous person, but didn't God rest on the seventh day? That would mean that Monday is the first day of a new week ;)

In the next release of the Event module there's a new admin Global Config option to select calendar start day of week.
