solved Blog into widget?

How to get my blog into my start page in a widget.
I have found the item list but I don't understand what to fill in to get only mine own blog. It feels like I have tried everything and I can manage to get my first blog to be visible but not the last.
I have tried blog category and user id and profile id and I'm totally lost. Grateful for help. /Ylva

try not to get frustrated.

If you can write the steps you are taking that brought you to "...feels like I have tried everything and I can manage to get my first blog to be visible but not the last...."

Then we can understand where you are at.

You're wanting a blog in a widget.
* add a widget to the page
* make it an "Item List" widget of the "blog" type.
* If you only want it for one particular profile_id, then add in the search section _profile_id = (your profile id)

That should be it.

I have been trying for hours.... I have done all that .
From the blog in a widget, item list, profile_id and I just get my first entry, not the last, and if I choose 5 posts to show they all start wit the first on top. I have tried to test descended, ascended and the rest of them, the same result

I think I solved it, In group, I chose blog display order and now it looks exactly as I hoped for. Thanks for the answer it got me to start over. :D
