Treating content after a certain number of page views

I'd like to encourage people to sign up, rather than just browse. Would it be possible to have the image system blur all the pictures for a non-member after a certain number of page views each day?

Is this even a good idea - would it have the desired effect, or just annoy people?

Thoughts welcome!

I think I'd find it annoying and doubt that I would sign up.

Wouldn't it be better to provide a sense of community, or extra features, or extra content to encourage signup?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Education, learning resources, TEL, AR/VR/MR, CC licensed content, panoramas, interactive narrative, sectional modules (like jrDocs), lunch at Uni of Bristol. Get in touch if you share my current interests or can suggest better :)

That would be my ultimate goal, of course, but at the moment I've got people popping in, pinching the images and posting them on Facebook to talk about them!

Edit: Somebody even took a screen grab from the site and posted it in a Facebook group that I'm a member of!

are the og:tags setup on your site? if they are post the link to the site under the screenshot, get the full link card to the page there inviting them.

Why would I signup to your site? What benefit do I get that I wouldn't get if I wasn't signed up?

Need to figure out a reason people would want to signup.
* "Signup to get the latest updates"
* "Signup to help us build this site"
....?

if they like taking screengrabs, watermark all images for non-logged in users. They'll need to join to get their screengrabs.
