The Documentation for Activity Log does not say if there is any limit to the number of activity log entries.
See - https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/documentation/jamroom-admin-handbook/4290/activity-log
They add up quite quickly!
Is the only limit the size of our hosting server memory?
Or is there a preset limit, after which old activity log entries fall off the end of the list (disappear)?
I presume it is a good idea to download them occasionally, if the record is wanted, and delete ('empty') the log contents.
Without knowing if there is an preset limit, I don't know how often I should consider doing this.
Perhaps the ideal set up would be having an alert threshold, at which point an alert is sent to the site owner suggesting that it is time to download and empty out the activity log.
At present, is there any simple way to set a limit on the size of the activity log?
