First I want to thank all of you for your support. I did a complete site check on my Jamroom installation and the only thing that I would like to see is that there is a required button for Youtube embedded media to put titles and descriptions at the time the embedded url is added. If users don't put this information in the site shows a blank for the video that was added. Is this possible? I understand that Youtube imports the video information however, users have to click the update button after adding the Youtube url to put the title and description for it to show up. Is it possible to have this required info on the same page as the add Youtube url so the user can add the titles without having to go back and click update to add the titles.

You should not have to do this. the Jamroom module will get the title and description FROM YouTube, via their API. Have you properly configured the YouTube module with correct version 3 API info?

The steps I use to ad viseo is I click the ad video button and then I choose YouTube the add page for url appears and I add the url. Save changes and the page with the video appears. But if users click the video link in a profile, there is a place holder for the video but no data or images. If you click the update button it allows you to add the titles and description but the images don't appear. Hope that helps guys. Thank you 😊.

could you send me your login details to support at jamroom dot net please. What is happening on your site is not the same as what is happening on my test server.

I am able to import youtube videos while combined video module is active.

The cause of the issue appears to be settings at Youtube for the API key that you are using.

I've added some checks to the next version of the module to make sure the key you're using will retrieve videos.

If it cant retrieve videos from youtube you will see an orange light in the
ACP -> MODULES -> CORE -> CORE -> TOOLS -> SYSTEM CHECK

area.

In the mean time, click on the SAVE button at
ACP -> MODULES -> PROFILE -> YOUTUBE -> GLOBAL CONFIG -> "Save"

and that will run a check of your API key against youtube.
