Did you change the urls at the licensing page?
https://www.jamroom.net/networklicense/licenses
if they are now https you will need to change them

You should be able to see what URls are currently using your comments license in your 'Licenses' section. If you are already using it on 2 sites, then you'll need to release it from one or purchase another license to use it on 2 more sites.

Hope this helps!

Brian, I'm using 2 already but why would I need to purchase another license if I'm going from http to https of the same website ? Isnt there away to just change my website from http to https in the license section ?

I'm not sure I understand - you don't need to do anything to go from http: to https: - the license are actually based on the domain, not the actual URL (the URL is just there as a helper). You should be able to access your site via http: OR https: - either way should not matter to the licensing.

Also - if you are not able to update a module for any reason, it won't prevent the module from working on your site - the fact that you say it is not longer working makes me think something else is either messed up or corrupted.

Try running an integrity check and clear caches and try again.

Hope this helps!

Well of course not - nobody is telling you that you have to purchase it again. There is obviously a problem with the setup - is your site functioning properly on both SSL and non-SSL?

Brian you are right I think my website is not properly set up for SSL and non SSL. Can you direct me on how to set it up ? My hosting company tried with RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{SERVER_PORT} 80
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://exposehits.com/$1 [R=301,L] and it directed everything to https also the comments thing works fine on http but not on https i think theres a big problem that i need help on.

Are you trying to redirect all non-SSL traffic to SSL?

no just places that need to be on ssl like login for example. if i redirect all non-ssl to ssl then the comments wont show correctly and i dont understand why.

Then remove that section from your .htaccess file - that is redirecting everything (or trying to). Instead just modify your skin header and point your user login and user signup to SSL.

Hope this helps!

I think i got it. I changed the code to ssl on just login and tested it well before i login its http once i login its https for every link after that. Is that how its supposed to be ? I dont want it to always be https only at login and sign up and i removed the code to allow all to be https not sure whats going on.

Here on jamroom.net the way we have it setup is when you are logged in, all urls are https and when your logged out you can visit either.

There are times when I go directly to a http link and am logged in and it will say "Please login". At those times i change the url to https in the address bar and it all comes right again.

So how you want to set it up is up to you.
