If you have the MailGun module installed and configured it will validate all your user emails, tagging them if undeliverable or malformed etc. (at a rate of 100 per hour). Jamroom will then not send emails to addresses tagged as such, so whilst it will not automatically delete 'Bot Members', you'll be avoiding high bounce rates and potential MailGun blocking issues.
Hope that helps
Paul

whats puzzling me then is the last time I sent out an email mailgun blocked me saying that my bounce rate was to high?

To protect your email reputation, our system has automatically disabled your domain. Your bounce rate is too high due to invalid recipients.

You need to stop sending to invalid recipients to lower your bounce rate.

How To Lower My Bounce Rate
Once you have made changes to lower your bounce rate, please create a support ticket to let us know so we can re-enable your domain.

That's huge - 12% of the emails you are sending are bouncing, which is a huge red flag to a company like Mailgun.

You need to "clean" your member list. Make sure the Mailgun module is installed, and full y configured and it will start checking 100 accounts per hour. Don't send any more email until your entire user based has been checked.

If you do what I outlined above you should be good. Have you tried that and run into an issue?

Thanks!

As long as you have added your keys (both of them) to the Global Config, then you're set. You will see messages in your Activity Log when it encounters bad email addresses, and it will start checking them each hour.
