Events - Timezone Adjustments

We are doing a ton of online events now and it would be awesome to have a user timezone selection in the User Account Settings Tab.

Then allow the Events module to adjust the start time for the user based upon their TZ.

Is it possible? :)

This is a feature I dream dream dream of!

It is such a challenge to explain GMT time vs. any individual member's time.
It was my understanding (maybe, hopefully, an incorrect misunderstanding) that this is not a likely option for the JamRoom Events Calendar.

Ning was never able to provide this for us, either.

But I'll give a high five YES! if this could be an option.

Add a 'location' select field to the user account form that translates to +/- hours then add/subtract that from event dates when displaying them?

No this needs to be done via Javascript. Something we can look into for a future release, but it won't be really quick.
