Hi.

1. I just want to know if the JR5 skins have support for many languages, as they have in JR4.

2. I don't see a mobile module for JR5, does that mean that I can now see the website on any mobile and tablet?

3. Do you have demo URLs I can test with different devices?

1) Yes

2) JR5 is already mobile ready throughout - the skin will adjust to the mobile screen (it's responsive) - no need for a separate module

3) We are setting these up now. For now, you can check out our site right here on jamroom.net - jamroom.net runs on Jamroom 5.

Hope this helps!

thanks, I checked this site on my cellphone. I see it says menu, when I click on it the full menu displays, but it has to load the page for it to appear, taking several seconds to show).

It would be much better if the menu appeared on mouse over or without loading it.

Also, what skin is this you are using? Does all other skins display the menu the same way? Thanks for your help!

Yes, the mobile menu is the same on all the Jamroom skins, I'm not sure about third party skins. Other menu systems can be used, your not limited to the one we use/provide.

The menu is a drop down type menu, created with CSS and a little JS, it does not open in a new page/window.

The skin jamroom.net is using is not for sale, it was purchased just for this site and the license does not allow redistribution.

Hope this helps,
Douglas

the menu looks fine, the thing is, why does it have to load the page again for it to work? Is there an option to make it faster?

This is the first time I see this for a menu trying to be compatible with mobile devices. I don't want to be negative, but if you aim to get better at responsive design, should't you have used HTML5?

I'm not exactly sure I know what you mean by loading the page again for it to work, can you explain?

It does use the HTML5 nav tag and it is also using CSS3, which is how the button is created for mobile devices, I'm not sure it can be any more mobile ready than that.

Thanks,
Douglas

All JR5 skins are mobile ready, but I want to make sure you understand that JR5 has not been designed as a "single page ajax application" - this means when you click a URL to go to say a profile page, or the gallery page for a profile, it will load a new page.

If you don't like how that works, then you'll want to create a custom skin that suits your needs or use something besides Jamroom.

Thanks!
