Can't get comments to work....

I have continued to have permission and module troubles configuring the site. I have read the manuals, forums, emailed support and nothing yet has solved the problem. I am hoping that another user has seen this problem, attached is one (of MANY) emails we receive from our community. Support advised me to check permissions, that was done to the best of my ability. Other than the check boxes in the Comments module, I don't know what I should remotely be looking for.

We cannot comment on the gallery images of others to get feedback. The comment box is there and I can type in it, but the Post button is grayed out.

Also on my blog area, the only way I can add another post is to edit the post I already did. The box is there to add a new post and I can type in info, but the Post button is grayed out and doesn't work. It has been a nightmare to try and get any features working consistently for my users. "Its probably a permission", has not proven helpful yet. Has anyone had this problem?

The Gallery option is working great now. Thanks. If we can just allow others to comment on our images for feedback would be great.

Which skin are you using?

Mogul, and I have no attachment to it. I did not know the skin could effect this.

It doesn't always have to do with the skin, but its best if we try to replicate using as close to the same setup your using just in case it does have to do with the skin.

In this instance, I'm not able to replicate your issue, I can comment on galleries and gallery images without issues, so it is probably how you have your settings in the ACP.

Can you send us your site URL and admin login so we can check it out?

I've found the issue and will open a ticket on it.

For now, do not enable the editor for comments, that is causing the post button to not work in the Mogul skin.

I've disabled it for you and your users can comment now on gallery images etc..
