Is my NingToJamroom site working right?

My Ning to Jamroom transition is almost done and I am hoping to go live tomorrow.

If you've done this before, I'd love to get your feedback.
See if you can spot anything that is not working right?

This is my original Ning network
http://empathcommunity.ning.com

This is the Jamroom (yes, I will change this horrifying domain name ;)
http://empathcommunityeliselebeaucom.jamroomhosting.com

Many Thanks!

Did you want or need to create site forum categories? Or are all your Forum discussion going into one general location?

So you cannot "follow" the forum unless they are in a category. I do not need a category but it was the only way I found to allow my members to get notified on each new post.

My members either post in the main forum (which has a single topic) or we steer them in the groups for everything else.

I got this wrong?

Elise, I think you might have quite a few similar questions like this- so I'd like to suggest you join my site temporarily so that you can see what a regular member can and can't do on my site. That way if you want to duplicate onto your site some function or setting you see on my site that you don't have yet, we'd have a specific thing pinpointed already. Please feel free to join my site to experience it as a normal member: http://fotmd.com/ ...I can always delete you later. If you use the name Elise I'll know who you are and approve you right away. Don't worry about answering the application questions correctly- just choose any answer, I'll approve you.
If you prefer not to do this, no worries! :)

First thing that was really obvious: my users don't go into pending (like yours), they go into members.
I need to change the quota that allows sign up, it looks like. Yay, first improvement!

I just approved your membership in my site Elise- just try not to post a bunch of off topic stuff ...or my moderators will think you're suspicious and they might de-activate you first and ask questions later. ;D
P.S. good to create a Private Group and just invite your moderators and Admins in- a place to discuss site issues or troublesome members freely.

You should know that while I was stumbling around slowly trying to learn how to put my site together, I used to repeat a favorite old saying to myself:

Even the blind hog finds an acorn now and then.

This page:
http://empathcommunityeliselebeaucom.jamroomhosting.com/community/forum/empath/26434/my-teacher

Has an alignment issue with the username and image.

Cause is:
.action_item_user_img{
 align:left;
}
Change to:
.action_item_user_img{
 align:none;
}
To bring it back to center and move the username below the image. (or change to how you think it should look.)

Good catch Michael!
I had changed the size of the image in the template which borked the layout on this page. I reverted the change and will look for a better fix :)

I saw that but I assume it was doe to weird formatting in the content. Can it be a problem in the URL scan module?

Seams pretty good. Not sure if this one is by design to only allow ad requests from logged in users or not, so:

"Contact me to place an Empath relevant ad" on the top page of the site, the 'Contact Me' points to the tickets which is only usable by logged in users, where as the header "contact" points to a contact form that is usable also by non-logged-in users.

could be a problem with the url scan module, but the first place I would look is directly in the code that created that post. My guess is you will find incorrect HTML pasted into that post.

If it is a problem with the url scan module, let us know and we'll get it sorted.

Oh I see. Yes, the user probably has some weird html. I try not to touch their content though.

Yes, it is by design. Only my members can place an ad (I only want relevant ads). But when users are locked out, I want them to be able to contact me (when logged out). Hence the contact one being available to them.

Thanks!
