Hi all,
I tried to look into the templates, but it seems to happen with all the emails sent by the system. Whatever template is called creates an entry in the subject line. Here are some examples of subject lines sent from the system to me.
Any ideas?

You have a developer feature turned on.

Go to:
ACP -> MODULES -> DEVELOPER -> DEVELOPER TOOLS -> GLOBAL CONFIG

and uncheck the checkbox marked "Template Name In Source"

Hello all,
I just came searching for this same question.

We ARE in developer mode, preparing still... and one of the members we invited to poke around and provide feedback sent us a "Please make this stop!" note.

If I'm understanding this correctly, I should not make this fix until AFTER we're live?

Thanks,
michael

The reason its happening and the solution are both listed above:
You have a developer feature turned on.

Go to:
ACP -> MODULES -> DEVELOPER -> DEVELOPER TOOLS -> GLOBAL CONFIG

and uncheck the checkbox marked "Template Name In Source"

Turn it off if you're not using it.

The reason you would use it is if you needed to know what template generated the code for a section.

The help text reads:
Quote:
Enabling the "Template Name in Source" option will add an html comment with the name of the .tpl file START and END to help locate which html code comes from which template.

OK... done. (Actually, it was already unchecked. I checked it, saved the change, unchecked it and resaved. Hopefully this will stop the trouble.

Thank you.
