solved Safari browser problem on user account page

If you use the Safari browser (web or mobile versions) and go to edit a users account, the contents of the username are replaced by your own email address !

This is caused by the 'AutoFill (Usernames and passwords)' setting in the Safari browser (if you have something saved in there for your JR site). Turn that off and it does not occur.

It's caused us a few problems as the admins have not noticed this occurring and saved accounts with their email address in the username field !!

Appreciate this is a problem with the Safari browser (does happen in any other browser). Don't know if there is any way of preventing Safari from updating the field.

Cheers

Dave

This is tricky to work around with Safari - any where it sees username/password it tries to be helpful and "autofill" the values for you, which doesn't help here. I have an idea how to work around it so will test that out and see if it works.

Update to the latest Users 1.8.6 - we've got a small Javascript update in place that hopefully prevents Safari/Chrome from auto filling on the user account settings form for master/admin accounts.

Let me know if that works.

Thanks!
