solved Audio Bug - ProJam

Can someone validate that they encounter this?

Set the profile to Shared (I think either option will work)
Save

Try and play any audio on your page.
Result - No audio will play. Error thown on individual songs. You can play other people audio though.

I am using players from Nate so this may vary based on the default audio players.

I'm not seeing any issue with this on my end - note that if you set a profile to "shared", the only users that are followers of the profile will be able to play the audio file.

Thanks Brian. That is the problem. The profile user is unable to play their own music.

That doesn't really make sense - a user is always allowed to view/see their own profile info regardless of their profile setting - in fact the check does not even get run for users on their own profile.

Are you sure the audio is good? As the admin you can play it?

Hey Brian - Yeah I can set it that way on any profile. I had two users report it and it took me a day to figure out a workaround. As an admin I can play the page just fine.

Just got home so ping me if you want access.
