solved Group Discussions exist but are "not found"

A user has created discussions in another user's group and all was well, but although these discussions appear in the group discussion list and on the originating user's profile, the links are today coming up as "not found".

Attached 1) list of the user's discussions and 2) screen shot when following the link of the first one.
I've found these discussions in the data browser and even modified the title of one, but it is still 'not found' at the link given. None of the discussions created by this user are accessible at the moment.
I will raise a ticket for this with urls and login details, but I'm putting it on the forum in case others have noticed this.

Yes, I updated one of my support tickets a few hours ago about this issue.
I was thinking it had something to do with the recent "Change Owner/Group Discussions" code tweaks/updates done on my site.

I wrote:
--------------
if you are on a member's profile page and click on GROUP discussions they have created, you get taken to a blank page or a Not Found. For example, as The Member just now I created a new Group Disucssion called "test". I also created a FORUM Discussion called "test", but the problem is not happening with forum discussions...only with List of the "Latest Group Discussions" ...and it seems only on the member's profile pages.
As Master Admin i do not see this happening on my own profile page (which is why I didn't notice it earlier) but my profile-admin moderators are reporting it happens to them on their own pages, and it happens to me if I'm logged in as a regular member.
------------

Happening for me only concerning Group Discussions, and only if trying to get to someone's discussion from that member's profile page.

Thanks for the extra info @strumelia. I can't access these discussions even from the list of discussions on the group home page.
I only found out about this last night. I've looked further today and I see that all discussions I created last week for someone else's group are "not found" when I access them from my own profile 'discussions', but I can access them from the group home page. I'm in my Admin user.

[I attached screen shots to my original post, but they don't seem to be showing here].

Ok, so- If I am on the group page of a group I created, and I click on a discussion some other member created, I get taken properly to that discussion and here is the URL:
http://fotmd.com/strumelia/group_discuss/1837/traveling-with-a-dulcimer
But if I go to that member's profile page and click on that discussion in her "Latest Group Discussions" list, I get a blank page and this is the URL:
http://fotmd.com/peggy-m/group_discuss/1837/traveling-with-a-dulcimer

Notice the different name in the URL, but the group discussion's ID number remains the same.

Similarly, when this group discussion (discussion created by Amanda) is clicked on from the actual Group Page (in a group created by Sam), it appears fine:
http://fotmd.com/sam/group_discuss/1652/fix-or-replace-a-fret
But if that same discussion is clicked to from Amanda's profile page, you get this, which doesn't work:
http://fotmd.com/amanda-rutherford/group_discuss/1652/fix-or-replace-a-fret

Again note the name change in the URL- it's as though the URL has been altered so it's looking for that same 1652 discussion ....in a group created by Amanda...when it's actually Sam's group.

This has been fixed up with small template changes to both your sites. These changes will be in the next releases of Ningja and GroupDiscuss
Thanks

Thanks so much Paul! I can't speak for Lorna's issue, but mine seems to be fixed now.

Can you tell me please- once i apply the future updates to the Ningja skin and the Groupdiscuss module, would you recommend I do a 'compare' on my custom skin to check for and apply the ningja change, or just leave my custom skin different form Ningja in that respect?
And- will updating the groupdiscuss module then create any 'redundant' fix that might conflict with the fix you put in place today?

thanks!
