Hello:

We are using the Flashback skin.

The hosting for our domains billyukcmap.co.uk And billyukap.co.uk is with JBServers.

As well, We have contacted JBServers about this issue and some other issues that may or maynot be related to this issue and are awaiting a reply back from JBServers.

Just something for you to note before you look at the below problem.
On our jamroom 5 setings at billyukcmap.co.uk , It is saying that our highest maximum upload can only be set at 600MB And on our jamroom 5 setings at billyukap.co.uk , It is saying that our highest maximum upload can only be set at 250MB ?.

The following exact same problem is occurring at our jamroom 5 on www.billyukcmap.co.uk And At www.billyukap.co.uk and is related to the video module when a video is been uploaded to a profile.

On billyukcmap.co.uk in user profile/video/Add video +/video file max upload: 600MB/ We click on, Upload a new video file.

Video we are uploading is, Video file format: .mov - Video file size: 200MB.

It will get to 100% Upload then say, upload failed.

We done this 5 times, But still comes back after geting to 100% Upload then say, upload failed.

We were about to give it one more go but abandoned it because we notice the max upload had changed from 600MB To 128MB, So we go to System Core/Resources/Max Upload Size, And it is saying max upload allowed is 600MB ?.

We decided to do a Integrity Check/Reset Caches, We then log out and close the site down.

We go back and go to profile/video/Add video +, And the max upload was showing 600MB, So we click on, Upload a new video file and we were just geting the same as before, upload failed and this happened 4 times before finally it uploaded the video after the 5th attempt.

We then click on 'Create' and it just stayed on the page for about 20 minutes while the page was working before finally going to a error page that had the below error message.

CRI: Error connecting to MySQL Server: User WE-Have_Left_This_Bit_Out_jamr412 already has more than 'max_user_connections' active connections (#1203) - the site owner should contact their hosting provider for assistance.

After this we had to close the site down and come back and go to profile/video, And see the below messsage on the video page.

This video file is currently being processed and will appear here when complete.

We knew that something was wrong with this because in no way is it going to take by that time 35 minutes, To process a video and so we decided to just delete the video.

We decided to give it just one more go to upload the video and again after the 3rd attempt this time it finally uploaded the video then click on 'Create' But it done exactly the same as the above mentioned and again after had to delete the video.

Below is the other error message we are seeing from time to time when using our Jamroom sites at www.billyukcmap.co.uk And www.billyukap.co.uk and plus we notice from time to time that www.billyukcmap.co.uk And www.billyukap.co.uk are runing really slow.

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator at WE-Have_Left_This_Bit_Out@billyukcmap.co.uk to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

This is where we decided to get in contacted with JBServers and to come on here as well to let jamroom know about this.

We hope you can help us out on this issue.

That looks like a server issue which jbservers will probably get sorted out for you. An integrity check may make it better if you choose check all the advanced options:
ACP -> SYSTEM CORE -> TOOLS -> INTEGRITY CHECK -> (check ALL the checkboxes) -> RUN

That will appear until the system is able to convert the file into all the necessary formats.

If the file didn't get uploaded that might never complete. Make sure you have enough space on your server. after a file gets uploaded it gets moved to the correct location, maybe that your server is full.

Quote:

We have more than enough space on the jbservers server for bote www.billyukcmap.co.uk And At www.billyukap.co.uk , So this will most certainly be not the issue here.

(1) In no way should it be takeing about 12 or more attempts to upload 1 video that is only 200MB in size.

(2) In no way should it be takeing about 35 minutes to 40 minutes to process 1 video after we click the 'Create' And it just stayed on the page about 35 minutes to 40 minutes before it decided to go to the error page message.

(3) When you say
maybe that your server is full
We are finding it very hard to understand what you mean by this as we don't think this is in any way related to this issue.

Your above mentioned replies to the above mentioned issue we feel is not going to resolve this issue regarding the video module upload and we are not saying this to you Michael in a disrespectful way and we hope you don't take it that way.

Not disrespectful at all, no problem. I appreciate all the details you provide so we can try to find the solution together.

Lets wait for jbservers to get back to us about the 'Internal Server Issue' as that may be the key to it all. If you would like you can send me the file and some login details to your site and I will try to upload it from here.

As for the video file Michael, Just upload and use any video file your end that is 200MB so you can test it out and after you are done just delete the video file you upload but if you will still like us to send you the video file just tell us where you will like us to send it to okay.

I will now be out for most of the day here Michael and will not be back to reply to this post on tell later okay but thanks for now Michael for your help on this.

Hello Michael:

We are trying to create a FTP account for you Michael to go to a folder that we will put the 200MB video file in for you to download on our domain www.billyuk.co.uk But we are struggling to do this because it looks like all our domains at, www.billyuk.co.uk www.billyukcmap.co.uk And www.billyukap.co.uk, Are struggling at the moment to get anything done because everything is running really very slow and we are geting error page messages and we are on able to get any work done because of this.

This as well includes trying to get any work done via the Control Panel of all our domains, www.billyuk.co.uk www.billyukcmap.co.uk And www.billyukap.co.uk.
Right now we have abandon trying to do any further work done Michael as this continues and we are at this moment pretty frustrating because of the situation.

Even though we have contacted JBservers Michael, We still have not had a reply back from them about the situation as to what is going on.

So ontill that situation has changed Michael, We are on able to do anything our end at the moment but as soon as the situation has changed we will post back to here to update you Michael.

Below is just one example Michael of the problems we are incurring with the below error page message when we are trying to create a FTP account for you Michael to go to a folder that we will put the 200MB video file in for you to download on our domain www.billyuk.co.uk.

Internal Server Error

500
The cPanel Server operation timed out at cpsrvd.pl line 541.

cpsrvd/11.54.0.21 Server at www.billyuk.co.uk

We have been left here totally in the dark Michael as to what is going on and as soon as the situation has changed that all is working okay, We will post back to here to let you know that we have send you the details you have requested from us.

Thank You Michael.

Hello Michael:

We've heard back from JBServers who have been working for the last couple of days to resolve the issue we reported to them regarding the page error messages that we were seen and they are happy to report to us that they have now resolved this issue and have explained to us what was the route cause of the issue was regarding the page error messages that we were seen.

JBServers reported to us that the issue was caused by a disruption to the connecting on JBServers datacenter to the main hub in a particular area.

After hearing that JBservers have resolved the issue from there end regarding the above mentioned, We decided to go back and try again to upload the video from our Jamroom site at billyukcmap.co.uk to determent if indeed the JBServers issue was the cause of the issue we were having regarding the uploading of the video to our Jamroom site at billyukcmap.co.uk.

Sadly though we have to report Michael, We continue to have the same issue but with exception this time is that the video is uploading at the first attempt but the following below issues still remains.

(1)
It is still takeing about 35 minutes to 40 minutes to process 1 video after we click the 'Create' And it is still just staying on the page about 35 minutes to 40 minutes before it decided to go to the same error page message you see below.

(2)
Now i am seeing as well that when it decided to go to the above error page message, I go back to our jamroom site at billyukcmap.co.uk and find that it has logged me out of the site ?.

And again had to delete the video after because in reality it didn't really upload the video and in reality it didn't really process the video.

We have as well since reported back to JBservers about the above mentioned error page message that we are still seening.

As we, We have giving JBservers the link to this forum thread regarding this issue in the hope that it will help in some way to resolve this issue.

Same issue with same hosting.
All my uploads fail if more then around 18mbs.
It seems if you have high speed internet they will load but wont process.

I tried to get jb to read this article
https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/forum/jamroom-developers/11649/create-video-error

Not sure if its the solution just hoping it might shed some light on the issue.

I gave up on it in february.

Just been looking for a new host.

If you need to run other software other than jamroom, then jamroom hosting isn't for you. But its possible to have a dedicated IP and mysql is already installed on jamroom hosting.

One of the lesser noted features of jamroom hosting is that all video and audio conversion is handled by a separate server dedicated to conversion. So the server that you rent is just used to deliver your site, it doesn't have to deliver your site AND convert videos. This helps media heavy sites work faster.

for http://billyukap.co.uk/ I can not upload the video because of the server settings.

The solution for that issue is outlined here:

Docs: "How do I increase PHP's upload limit?"
https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/documentation/problems/748/how-do-i-increase-phps-upload-limit

On the http://billyukcmap.co.uk/ domain the video uploaded fine, but during the CREATE phase it took a very long time to finish the form submission. (I'm still waiting while writing this.....) this is unusual.

The video conversion process should be handed off to a queue in the background for processing so should not effect the length of time it takes to submit the form.

At a guess I would guess that the point in the process that moves/copies the file from the servers /tmp directory into the public_html/data directory is not succeeding for whatever reason.

I've uploaded the file for a second time, this time it worked as expected. Both files show up in the conversion queue logs
http://billyukcmap.co.uk/core/dashboard/queue_viewer/queue_module=jrVideo/queue_name=video_conversions

So give them some time and they should convert.

Hello Michael:

I decided to do a test my end by first configuration and changing something in the quota so as to try and clarify something our end and the below information will explain the outcome.

I go to, video module - quota config - I Unchecked convert videos and save.

I go to profile-video-Create-UpLoad A New Video File.

Video Upload 100% at 1st attempt, Then i click on 'Create' Then straight away it goes to the profile page video and shows that the video was uploaded and showing a ? Image for the video. I then click on the name of the video to go and view but there was no video to view in which you can see from the attachment photos that are included in this post.

So even whit the convert videos unchecked in the quota configuration, It is turning out to be worse because it is totally not uploading the video.

We need to get something straight here regarding when you click the 'UpLoad A New Video File' And will show after 'Video Upload 100%'.

In reality all this is, It is telling you that the the video has been 100% processed and uploaded from your PC and is now ready to upload to your site but in this case it is actually not uploading the video to the site.

Michael, I will be posting a separate post after this one for you to look at that will have 8 attachment photos for you to look at regarding the test work you done with the video upload yesterday at www.billyukcmap.co.uk.

Hello Michael:

As of the time of this post Michael, At www.billyukcmap.co.uk, The 2 test videos you upload yesterday are still showing in dashboard/queue depth as 2 videos still to process in the queue.

As of the time of this post Michael, 16 hours have passed and the videos are still processing and have not completed yet.

I have included 8 attachment photos in this post Michael for you to look at regarding the progress and information about the 2 test videos you upload yesterday and the photos will include information relating to the Queue Viewer/Queue Viewer: video_conversions/profile page videos/dashboard-queue depth/Time hours passed since the videos uploads And some other information.

Sadly at this rate we may now have to rethink as to whether or not we wish to continue with this jamroom 5 project on our domain sites at www.billyukcmap.co.uk And At www.billyukap.co.uk and we will be making this decision over the next week as to whether or not we wish to continue and if we decide not to continue with this jamroom 5 project on our domain sites at www.billyukcmap.co.uk And At www.billyukap.co.uk, We would like to ask you Michael to ask Brian if a full refund can be done to us for the Super Pack that we purchase from jamroom about over 2 weeks ago.

I encourage you to try it on jamroom hosting and see if that resolves the issue.

There is a free trial for 2 weeks, that should be enough to see if the issue is really a hosting issue rather than a jamroom issue:

Hello Michael:

I am in discussions with the rest of the team here that are involved in this project as to the best way to go forward regarding this matter and we are looking to make a final decision on this matter on Wednesday or Thursday of next week.

Your offer Michael for us to host with jamroom is a very feasible offer and we have added it to the table for discussion and i on behalf of the team here would like to thank you for putting this offer forward for us to consider and this is something that we will be seriously thinking about possibly doing.

In the meantime Michael, There will probably be some questions we will need to ask you over the coming days regarding the jamroom hosting that we will come back here to post to this forum to you to ask you, So that your answers we help us towards making a decision as to how to move forward with this matter.

Thank you as well Michael for the link to the jamroom hosting explaining the pricing plan setup and options, Very much appreciated Michael.

I would very much like to thank you Michael for putting this offer forward and we very much appreciated here.

Hello Michael:

Is it possible Michael, That you can give us a step to step instructions on how jamroom hosting we'll process and handle the move to one of youe subscribe hosting plans from the below information we have provided.

(1)
Bearing in mind that we already own our 2 domains billyukcmap.co.uk And billyukap.co.uk and boat are paid for the next two years and that our 2 domains billyukcmap.co.uk And billyukap.co.uk have already as we speak got hosting packages with JBServers that are assigned to our 2 domains and plus bearing in mind if we wore to subscribe to one of your hosting plans, The above mentioned 2 domains are the domains we what to use, How would jamroom hosting go about this procedure and process for this to happen and can you give us some step to step instructions on what we need to do our end for this to happen?.

(2)
Depending on your reply to the above (1) question, Because we are talking about our 2 domains billyukcmap.co.uk And billyukap.co.uk, We are slightly concerned that if you wore to host our 2 domains with jamroom hosting that this will cost us a lot more compared to what we pay to JBServers for the hosting of each of our 2 domains, For Example, We pay JBServers at the moment for each hosting packages, 5gb for $5 A month for our domain billyukcmap.co.uk And 5gb for $5 A month for our domain billyukap.co.uk but we notice that the jamroom hosting plan that we would be interested in is the 8gb plan that is $29 A month, Will this $29 A month cover just one of our 2 domains or will this cost of $29 A month cover boat of our 2 domains?.

(3)
Depending on all your replys to the above questions, Are we right or not in thinking if all goes to plan and we decide to got a jamroom hosting 8gb plan for our 2 domains, That we will not be able to do this until four weeks time because we first have to cancel our JBServers hosting packages for boat of our 2 domains and that this process will take four weeks, Are we correct in thinking this or not?.

(4)
Because we have already purchase and have the license for the SuperPack, We notice in the jamroom hosting 8gb plan that you already get free 100 modules but then we notice that we already have most of these free modules in the SuperPack that we have already purchase, How will jamroom hosting go about in handle this procedure and process regarding the above mentioned?.

To try out the hosting you don't need to do anything to your current domains, they can remain as they are and you will receive trial domains to test on. you only need to change the domain dns if you are sure you want to move them over to the hosting.

So for now the steps to try it out would be:
1.) go here https://www.jamroom.net/supportteambillyukco
2.) click on the HOSTING button then VIEW AVAILABLE SERVER PLANS, you will end up here:
https://www.jamroom.net/supportteambillyukco/hosting/create

Select the free trial server and the location you would like, then click CREATE NEW SERVER

There are more detailed docs here:

Docs: Jamroom Hosting
https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/documentation/jamroom-hosting

Once you have your server up and running, then you will want to add a domain, so add
* billyukcmap.co.uk
and again for
* billyukap.co.uk

you will be provided with a secondary domain that you can use for testing which will be at:
billyukcmapcouk.jamroomhosting.com
billyukapcouk.jamroomhosting.com

Use these to test things out.

Since you already have a jamroom site in another location use the "Import an existing jamroom site to a domian" steps found here:

Docs: "Import an existing jamroom site to a domian"
https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/documentation/jamroom-hosting/2547/importing-an-existing-jamroom-site-to-a-domain

To get your existing site moved over to Jamroom Hosting.

This will not effect your current sites at all, they will still be being served from your current host. It will just duplicate them on our hosting so you can test whether you want to keep the hosting or not.

Adding to what Michael said, if importing an existing site, remember that your free trial server has only 4GB of disk space.

2.) click on the HOSTING button then VIEW AVAILABLE SERVER PLANS, you will end up here:https://www.jamroom.net/supportteambillyukco/hosting/create
Select the free trial server and the location you would like, then click CREATE NEW SERVER
There are more detailed docs here:
Docs: Jamroom Hostinghttps://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/documentation/jamroom-hosting
Once you have your server up and running, then you will want to add a domain, so add
* billyukcmap.co.uk
and again for
* billyukap.co.uk
you will be provided with a secondary domain that you can use for testing which will be at:
billyukcmapcouk.jamroomhosting.com
billyukapcouk.jamroomhosting.com
Use these to test things out.
Since you already have a jamroom site in another location use the "Import an existing jamroom site to a domian" steps found here:
Docs: "Import an existing jamroom site to a domian"https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/documentation/jamroom-hosting/2547/importing-an-existing-jamroom-site-to-a-domain
To get your existing site moved over to Jamroom Hosting.
This will not effect your current sites at all, they will still be being served from your current host. It will just duplicate them on our hosting so you can test whether you want to keep the hosting or not.

Hello Michael:

First of all i better start off by saying, That the look and feel of the jameroom web site now is awesome and fantastic :) Well done guys great work i really like it.

I must say Michael, I am very impressed and very happy with the information you have provided above, This has tremendously made it very clear to us as to how easy the setup process will be and most importantly how easy the jamroom hosting process will make it for us that we can continue to use our 2 domains billyukcmap.co.uk And billyukap.co.uk without the need now to cancel anything from JBServers end regarding our hosting packages with JBServers for our 2 domains billyukcmap.co.uk And billyukap.co.uk.

One more thing that we are taking on board here as well Michael, We are picking up here from reading through your forum past here, That you seem confident enough that if we do get a jamroom hosting plan that we would not experience the same issues that we have been having and for this reason if we decide to go ahead with this, We have decided that maybe we will just bypass the free trial and sign up for the 8gb jamroom hoting plan.

In the meantime Michael, We will be reading through all the documentation information you have provided over the coming days so we can familiarise ourselves fully with the documentation information that you have given us so that we can try to make it as easy as possible for us to setup if we decide to go forward with this.

We have spotted one thing Michael in one of the documentation but not read into it in depth and it is to do with the DNS process regarding 'How To Set The Nameservers At Your Domain Registrar - At namecheap.com' Because we feel we have not been given the necessary information our end to allowers us to proceed with this so therefore we may possibly incur some problems here regarding this but we are not 100% sure about this but we would be looking into it.

All of the rest seems pretty straight forward Michael, So our only concern right now would be to do with the DNS process regarding the above mentioned information.

For now Michael, We here would like to say a special thank you to you because your valued information that you have given us has made a big difference on us to continue forward with this, We very much appreciate this Michael, Thank You Michael.

Adding to what Michael said, if importing an existing site, remember that your free trial server has only 4GB of disk space.

Hello Michael:

Please disregard our below requests that we previously posted to this forum for you to read because we read this forum topic on the jamroom forum regarding "New Jamroom Branding + Jamroom Premium/If you are a Jamroom Super Pack owner OR have spent $199 or more on premium Jamroom modules or skins, you have automatically been upgraded to Jamroom Premium for FREE!." .

Quote:

Because we have already purchase and have the license for the SuperPack, We notice in the jamroom hosting 8gb plan that you already get free 100 modules but then we notice that we already have most of these free modules in the SuperPack that we have already purchase, How will jamroom hosting go about in handle this procedure and process regarding the above mentioned?.

We are quite happy Michael that we do not need to proceed any further with this regarding this matter because we are quite happy with the jamroom solution.

The DNS is very simple but not something you need to think about yet. You only need to think about that once you have tried out jamroom hosting and are sure that you want to use your domian names on jamroom hosting.

Currently you have it setup so that when someone opens the url 'billyukcmap.co.uk' the browser asks the internet "where do i find billyukcmap.co.uk please?" and the internet responds "You need to go to THIS server, its over at jbservers".

When you are sure that you do want to use jamroom hosting, you go to wherever you purchased the domain name from, and they will have a control panel. you change nameservers to point from jbservers to point to jamroom servers.

That will make the previous interaction become:
"where do i find billyukcmap.co.uk please?" and the internet responds "You need to go to THIS server, its over at jamroom hosting".

We can help with the details once you get to that point, just say. :)

Hello Michael:

This particular way of doing the DNS Michael, Is something we have never done before with any of our domains, Because this way of doing the DNS process is basically seting it up so that when somebody goes to www.billlyukcmap.co.uk They will then be basically forwarded not to jbservers servers but instead would be pointed in the direction of your jamroom servers because the DNS would have been changed to allow this to happen, Is this correct Michael ?.

Our other concern that still remains Michael that could stop this process going forward is, For some reason or another we have mislaid and are on able to find the details that would allow us to login to the nameservers control panel to edit our domains so as to allow us to change nameservers to point from jbservers servers to point to the jamroom servers ?.

We've got somebody here in our team Michael that is looking into it at the moment to find out exactly what has happened but so far we have been on able to find the details.

In a situation like this Michael, Is there any advice you can give from your end as to where we need to go to try to retrieve the details that would allowers us to login to nameservers control panel to edit our domains ?.

Thank You Michael.

My advice is: "Don't worry about it until its time to worry about it."

If you really want to know more now, then in your 'server settings' panel here on jamroom.net you will see a section titled 'nameservers' it will have these settings:

ns1.linode.com
ns2.linode.com
ns3.linode.com
ns4.linode.com
ns5.linode.com

Those are the nameservers to use. Where you put that info depends on where you got your domains from.

I purchase domains that I use from namecheap.com. In their control panel is where I would add the details above.

For you it depends on who you pay each year for use of your domians.

Hello Michael:

Below Michael, Is the information regarding our domain billyukcmap.co.uk that we bought and registered from jbservers about two months ago.

Your DNS (nameserver) settings are:
Primary - ns1.jbservers.net
Secondary - ns2.jbservers.net
Tertiary - ns3.jbservers.net
Quaternary - ns4.jbservers.net

Please note that until you configure your domain name to these DNS servers, your website and e-mail will not work. If you registered your domain with JBServers LLC., the DNS is already correctly set up. If you registered your domain with another company, you will need to log in to there domain control panel to update your DNS/nameserver settings. If you need assistance with this, we recommend contacting the company where you registered the domain- as we will not be able to help administrate this aspect of your hosting with us.

From us re looking at these details mentioned above, It looks as though our 2 domains billyukcmap.co.uk And Billyukap.co.uk are in fact registered with JBServers LLC ?.

Can you come back to me about the above mentioned Michael, So as to shine a bit more light on the above mentioned information and to lets us know as to where do we now go from here ?.

Right now you are in the position of trying to figure out HOW to move, but haven't yet decided that you WANT to move. So try out the hosting first to make sure you want to move.

If you do decide that you want to move, then the steps from where you are now with regards to your domain are, you're going to need to transfer it to an independent domain registrar.

I currently use namecheap and have no issues with them. you can chat to a live person here:

Just adding that I have a couple of domains bought through JBServers and pointing them to Jamroom hosted sites is easy and not an issue there. When the time comes, let me know and I can walk you through the process.

Hello Michael:

Unfortunately Michael, Even though we submitted the details that JBServers requested us to send to them five days ago so they can from their end reproduce the issues we are seeing and geting with our jamroom 5 at www.billyukcmap.co.uk And www.billyukap.co.uk, JBServers have failed to carry out any work their end at www.billyukcmap.co.uk And www.billyukap.co.uk to reproduce the issues we are seeing and have not once in that time got back to us to let us know the progress of the work they are supposedly meant to be doing but in fact are not.

We have now decided Michael, That we are only going to allow untell Monday, 18 April for JBServers to carry out this work their end to reproduce the issues and if they failed to do so, We have decided to discontinue any further with this jamroom 5 project on our sites www.billyukcmap.co.uk And www.billyukap.co.uk, Because we have totally lost our patients and confidence to continue any further with this project and that means as well discontinue any further with jamroom 5.

If it should come to this Michael, We intend to carry out and starting on Monday, 18 April, The below mentioned.

(1)
We will first de configure all setings in modules at www.billyukcmap.co.uk And www.billyukap.co.uk, That needed configuration to work For example, Foxy Cart, YouTube .

(2)
We will then disable and delete all modules on our jamroom 5 at www.billyukcmap.co.uk And www.billyukap.co.uk.

(3)
We will remove our jamroom 5 license from the marketplace setings from our jamroom 5 at www.billyukcmap.co.uk And www.billyukap.co.uk.

(4)
We will then proceed to our JBServers CP for www.billyukcmap.co.uk And www.billyukap.co.uk, To uninstall the jamroom 5 from www.billyukcmap.co.uk And www.billyukap.co.uk.

After all the above-mentioned has been done, We will then return to this forum to post a request for a full refund for the SuperPack we purchase for $199.00 About 4 Or 5 weeks ago because we have decided to entirely discontinue working with the jamroom 5.

So that you can understand it from our end Michael as to why we have come to this decision, The following information should explain it from our point of view.

When we first started out on this project, We set ourselves a budget for this project for over a two-year period and we even allowed extra in the budget to cover any extra expenses we might incur and the expenses we were allowing for were for the purchase of our 2 domains from JBServers billyukcmap.co.uk And billyukap.co.uk And the hosting packages we would purchase from JBServers to go with our 2 domains so that we could install the jamroom 5 from our JBServers domains CP and plus we were also allowing expenses in our budget to purchase items from jamroom, For example, SuperPack And plus as well allowing for expenses to cover cost for things like, For example, Foxy Cart.

Even though it was very nice of jamroom to offer us a hosting package with them to run our 2 jamrooms true using the DNS procedure in the hope that this would resolve the issue, We have also decided to declined this offer because this extra expense which we did not allow for in our budget would take it way over the budget that we have allowed and that's taken into account the extra we have allowed on the budget.

Sadly Michael, We are now left with only one choice and that is with JBServers resolving the issue from their end but if this does not materialise by Monday, 18 April, We will have no choice but to continue with our intentions.

It really would be a shame Michael if it had to come to this because we were looking forward to our projects using and working with the jamroom 5 but sadly now that does not look possible which is a shame.

Thanks Michael.

You are saying that JBServers have not provided you with the service or response they promised you, yet you are going to stay with them and get rid of Jamroom? Even when another person says they had exactly the same upload problems with JBServers that you are having?

Doesn't make a lot of sense to me... but hey good luck!

Doesn't make a lot of sense to me... but hey good luck!

We have been with JB service since 2007 with our domain www.billyuk.co.uk that is runing the jamroom 3 and DJ at JB service has always done a very good job resolving issues we've had of and on with our domain www.billyuk.co.uk over the years and at this present time and for the last two years we have had no issues at all regarding our domain www.billyuk.co.uk so overall we are very happy with JB service and have no intention of leaving them regarding our domain www.billyuk.co.uk.

Something that you have to take on board as well that we have always been aware of concerning DJ and JB service, Is that he runs the JB service company all by himself which is remarkable in itself bearing in mind that he does such a good job so we give him a lot of respect regarding this area.

Because this issue is not resolved around our domain www.billyuk.co.uk and only relates to our domains with JB service that are billyukcmap.co.uk And billyukap.co.uk that we pacifically purchased with hosting packages from JB service and we pacifically got it to run the jamroom 5 on JB service hosting, Our intentions right from the start was two run our jameroom 5 project from JB service hosting and we had allowed this in our overall budget we have set out for this project but we have not allowed in our budget for any extra cost in relation to jamroom hosting which we have worked out would make us go over budget to the sum of £600 GBP UK currency over a period of two years that we have worked the budget out on and this is the only reason why we decided to decline the jamroom hosting.

We have taken on board as well that DJ over the last six months has had some major issues which he eventually sorted out but this has left him with a back log of work to catch up with regarding his customers so when we set the date Monday, 18 April, Because this was to allow for just in case DJ was to busy to work on resolving our issue and that if he had not got around to resolve the issue by Monday because of the above mentioned reasons, Our intention was to inform him on Monday not to pursue the matter any more to resolving the issue because we would have made the decision not to continue with the jamroom 5 project.

Hello Michael:

It's not something that we most certainly did not want to happen Michael but under the circumstances we are left with no choice.

We still have until Monday Michael, So hopefully DJ will get the time to have a look at the issue and maybe DJ can work some of hes magic to fix the problem but if not, We have decided to not continue with the project.

If we decide to not continue with the project Michael, We have decided to keep our account open with jamroom just in case the situation changes in the future and i say that in respect of that in the future maybe jamroom hosting can offer a facility that will allow you to buy and register a domain
With them which can then be used with the jamroom hosting and if this was the case we would be more than happy to come back on board to work with a new jamroom 5 project and work out a new budget for it.

We would still like to thank you Michael for all the help you have given us and we very much appreciate this.

Thanks Michael.

Seems like the answer on the fix might be here
https://jbservers.net/kb.php?action=article&id=1

Article number: Article number: kb-1
Q. Do You Offer Jamroom Support?

A. Yes, we offer full Jamroom support should you run into any problems. This includes functions included in Jamroom not working correctly on the server, and other server related problems. We provide full support when it comes to being 100% fully functional on our servers.

We do not, however, offer support for script problems with the software itself. For example, if you should find a bug...we cannot fix it for you. You would need to report it in the Jamroom.net forums, so the programmer may get the problem resolved. We do not provided extended support such as website design, jamroom installation/upgrades, Jamroom administration, Jamroom integration, and other non-server related issues.

Hello Derrickhand300:

We had already taken it upon ourselves to read this article before we installed the jamroom 5 so as to find out if JB servers would have any support for the jamroom 5 just in case we run into any problems but we discovered that the article is only covering support for the old jamroom setup and is not in fact saying it is covering support for the now jamroom 5 Plus the other articles on the subject of jamroom seem to be as well pointing towards to covering support only for the old jamroom setup and not in fact for jamroom 5.

Because the jamroom 5 is a totally different kettle of fish compare to the old jamroom setup, It could be that DJ at JB servers is still trying to familiarise himself with the jamroom 5 so that in the future he would be then be able to offer support for the jamroom 5 setup.

Thanks Derrickhand300.

Hello Michael:

As our intentions were mentioned in previous posts in this forum topic Michael, We have now uninstalled the jamroom 5 from our 2 domains at billyukcmap.co.uk And At billyukap.co.uk.

All that is left for us to do now Michael is, Can you ask Brian to arrange a refund back into the card we purchased from for the items, The SuperPack that we purchase on 20/03/2016 for $199.00 USD And For, The Simple Custom Forms that we purchase on 17/02/2016 for $9.00 USD, Total combined comes to $208.00 USD. We would appreciate if Brian at jamroom could arrange this refund for us.

We will continue to keep our account opened with jamroom Michael, Because we plan to come back on board in the future to get jamroom 5 again for a new project that we have stated the reason and outlined and have already mentioned in previous posts in this forum topic.

As well Michael, Before we uninstalled the jamroom 5 from our 2 domains at billyukcmap.co.uk And At billyukap.co.uk, We informed DJ at JBServers not to pursue the issue any further to resolve it because we had already made up our mind to uninstall the jamroom 5 from our 2 domains at billyukcmap.co.uk And At billyukap.co.uk.

Thanks Michael, Much appreciated.

Hello Brian:

We would first very much like to say a very special thank you to you Brian for a very speedy and pleasant refund transaction and we very much appreciate you doing this Brian.

As we said in a previous post topic Brian, We will continue to keep our account open with jamroom because we plan to come back on board in the future to start a new project with the jamroom 5 but under different circumstances which we underlined the reasons in a previous post to this forum topic that would be relating to the jamroom hosting and in the meantime we will be working here towards working out a new investment budget to pacifically go towards our future plans for jamroom 5 with your jamroom hosting plan and we very much look forward to this Brian when this happens.

In the meantime, We would like to send out a special thank you to you and Michael for the wonderful support you have given us and we very much appreciate this and as well would like to say thanks to all the jamroom support team and that is one of the reasons why jamroom support is 2nd to none when it comes to there great support that they offer.

We are very much looking forward to coming back on board in the future Brian but for now, A big thank you to you Brian for everything you have done, Thanks Brian and thanks Michael as well.
