i posted a separate post that seamless pages like http://www.dreadlockssite.com/newest-photos loaded very slowly
but i just found out that when loading them in chrome the results were disastrous
theres definitely a bug in seamless

ps its in all seamless pages not using sort by item_id
any other sorts cause this
its more serious then just slow sorting

This has nothing to do with Seamless - you have something on your site (maybe a virus?) that is watching for Chrome and inserting itself into the page.

If it WAS seamless you would see this same output in all browsers.

You need to check your site and templates.

definitely not a virus and its affecting every page using seamless sorts by those (highest rated or _created)

There are a couple of other ajax loaded URL's coming in on that page, try deactivating them and see if it makes a difference.

Narrow it down until it does work in chrome, then start bringing things back in until it works again. That way you can know exactly what the cause of the issue is.

ajax loaded urls? where are you seeing those? where would i find them to deactivate them
wait are they the urls to the photo and flickr modules
only included them cause of search limitations

hmm its working now it must have been cometchat conflicting when cometchat wasn't working right ...odd the slowness still persists but at least this is fixed
