solved Having a problem with Playlists

I added the audio module and playlist module to my site. Everything was functioning pretty good. I then edited the template for the player to remove the default image added to the top of the player...anyways it was all looking/working good...then went to work on something else for a few minutes and when the page refreshed after a few the player was broken...by broken I mean the actual player and controls and css stuff was gone-all I have now on the page where the player "should" be are 10 links to songs listed by title that play when you click on them.
Thinking it was something i did in the template and removed all my edits and cleared caches /integrity check several times...but the issue remained.
To make sure I did not miss anything I deleted the playlist module and the audio module then reinstalled it...so that everything would be the previous default...
That didnt fix the problem....
I did notice that even after removing and reinstalling- that the 10 song playlist still existed....so the removal process did not remove the songs or playlist...
Any ideas on how I can get this fixed?
Only thing I have not tried that comes to mind is to delete all the songs from the server and start over...

Most likely you have bad code in your database for the template you edited in the Playlist module.

When you go to the templates section, do you see an enabled reset button for the template you modified? If so, reset that template and you should get the default template again.

Thanks Douglas
Sorry i left out an important part..
Even though i removed the playlist module and reinstalled it from the marketplace-the Playlist module is not listed under modules in PROFILES- apparently there is no way to activate it because its not listed. ( I just did the reset you suggested but on the AUDIO module and it did not help)
Thanks

also I do my template edits directly on the server using FTP ( if that helps)

I have had issues in the past with stuff getting stuck in the cache similar to this and could not fix until I used FTP to delete the DATA>CACHE file...then stuff would work again.....but it did not work in this case- here is a screenshot of what I am seeing

If you will, send your site URL, admin login and FTP info to support[at]jamroom[dot]net and I'll take a look at it.

Hard to say what it is without digging into the templates and database.

Just posting here so it might help others.

The issue was your custom skin config.php was missing the new player settings.
