god im so screwed
i woke up to find multiple sites down, var partition filled up with litespeed cache causing mysql temp files to not close or be created
to make matters much much worse for some reason the backups were disabled since the end of november!
and even when i tried restoring 4 sitees using them i get warning could not remove folder folder not empty
so the db doesnt restore

(the sites i tied restoring are not my jr site)
after restore i get unable to conect to db

Wish I had the answer for you on this one. Sounds terribly stressful.

Server guys dont have a full server backup by any chance perhaps?

it took all day to get it back rolled back to november the freaking backup turned off when the os was updated
crap rolling it back already i better read that fast and maybe kill the process

damn damn damn you were about 10 minutes too late
the only way i could get sites up was by stoppi9ng mysql deleting the db directory then doing restore

out of 10 straight hours with server support u had the answer that might have saved me , but were just minutes too late..i had to get my sites up somehow even if i lost alot
but crap

i shoulda asked you 1st! instead of after 6 hours getting nowhere (except backwards) with the server techs

I was right on time, you were 10 min too fast. ;) :)

Glad you got it sorted, sucks you lost some data.
