An email digest for notifications was an option I found useful with Ning. I thought this feature might be helpful to streamline communications for Jamroom sites.

Ning described the email digest as follows:

"Email Digests are a great way to keep updated on the content you follow without being inundated with numerous notifications. Instead, you can choose to receive one daily email summarizing all of the activity you normally get individual, instant notifications of."

Is an email digest for Jamroom something that can be currently tweaked or possibly even developed?

currently no.

The user has the option of getting notifications sent to them by email or into their private messages inbox if that module is enabled.

There is no option to delay all messages for the day then send them out in one email.

It could be built using the existing infrastructure, probably the events and listeners system is what a developer would use:

@michael - I appreciate your prompt reply.

Perhaps this feature will be something that a developer would find beneficial to the Jamroom community.

If anyone has specific questions on how this feature works, I would be glad to answer them.

In addition, any suggestions to enhance this feature are most certainly welcome
