I have the "Manage Pages" checked in my OneAll account for FB but I can't seem to see where to go in the ACP to actually manage my FB Pages. I do not want to post to a personal FB account.

Any ideas?

I've not seen this before - is this a new OneAll option? We'd have to support it in the module before anything could be done with it, and right we don't support anything other than using FB to log in as well as posting to your FB wall.

Not sure what the Manage Pages is, but I can check it out and see if it would make sense to include it in our module.

I just checked it out, and this is not something we would add to our OneAll module - there's no need for the JR module to have access to a user's pages or applications. Those are part of the "extended permissions", and no users are going to grant that level of access to your Jamroom site.

Let me know if that clarifies anything.

Thanks!

Yeah, that's a bummer. Most all of the posting aggregators allow you to post directly to any FB Page that you manage and deselect your profile (example: ReverbNation). It is one of the drawbacks to G+, as they do not offer that anywhere, that I have found. Thus, FB Pages management is still superior. Just keep it in mind, as it would save, those of us that are managing way too many social media accounts, a little time.

As always, thanks for all your great work.

Ah - I may not understand what FB pages are (bear with me - I don't use Facebook beyond using it for testing JR features) - is it a way to switch profiles? My worry is that I want to avoid coding items into the OneAll module that are specific to certain networks - that makes the module harder to maintain.

Thanks!

Basically, it is like a "sister" profile. Big difference is FB pages are where you get all of your "likes". FB only allows a max. of 5000 friends per profile but pages can have infinite likes and followers. It is a powerful social media marketing tool that is pretty universal at this point in the game. It would be very valuable to us but maybe we could get some more feedback from others in the community here, before you start diving into a bunch of new code.

Yeah if it's something users really need, then of course we can check it out. I'm going to guess (honestly) there are probably better tools you can get that are designed specifically for managing Facebook - our goal with OneAll is a "generic" login/signup/post system for as many social networks as possible.

Thanks!
