I had two module updates this morning, I updated one, but when I try to update 'Profile Tweaks" I get a "Invalid license received" error, anyone know why?

Thanks

I used to see that occasionally, try again later, or if that doesn't work, delete the module from the INFO tab and re-install it, all the data will still be there.

Thanks Michael, but the problem is "Marketplace" is showing this module as if I haven't purchased it. I am very sure I did and I had the previous version installed, not sure what happened.

I'm not showing any purchase for the Profile tweaks module - could it have been purchased under a different Jamroom.net account?

Thanks!

It may have been Brian, not sure to be honest, but I recently came back to use JR again and was able to add it to my site, however I did purchase a couple of mods (long ago), (not sure which) in the old JR site that I used Paypal to get them, but they didn't show on my marketplace, I can't be sure if this was one to be honest, all I know is I have been using this module for a long time in different JR sites I have owned over time.

I have had a similar issue recently-mine turned out to be that I am on my 3rd jamroom site but the modules I buy are only good for 2- Even though I had them disabled on the other sites they actually had to be uninstalled from at least one of the other sites before they would update on the 3rd site
Maybe you can find some help in there somewhere...

In my case, I'm only running one JR site now.

What I don't understand about this at all is the fact that I have been able to use this mod for many Jamroom versions (so it was obviously purchased), but now from an update to another you can't find proof I paid for it? This is weird.

But no worries, if I have to pay for it again, I will, though it is unfair, just because I can't prove I purchased it years ago.

No reason to get upset or repurchase it - the Profile Tweaks module has not been out for years, but if you can remember any other Jamroom.net accounts you may have used BEFORE this account, the I can check those out and transfer any purchases from any other of your accounts to this account.

I definitely do NOT want you to repurchase anything, or do something you feel is unfair - it's just not a module you purchased under the "Eddy" account.

Thanks!

I'm sorry if I sounded upset, just don't understand how something like this happened.

I'm trying to purchase it from marketplace, but it takes me to the module/info page where it says it's active, I don't understand what is going on but I would like to pay for it, please let me know how I could do that.

Thanks

now do what I said. ;)

I can see you have a license for it. I have licenses for mine too, but sometimes they get stuck.

* Go to the INFO tab of that module.
* check the DELETE checkbox and save.
* go to the marketplace locate the module.
* (it will show you have a license to install it) click install.

Thanks Michael, I did, I delete the module, look for it in marketplace, click on "Quick Purchase" but it brings me back to the module info page and says:

The new module was successfully installed
This module is currently disabled

I don't know whats going on.

The marketplace always installs modules in a "disabled" state - you just need to check the "Enabled" checkbox and save.
