I see in my google analytics all users in the chat are recognized as one active user ? do i need to add a tracking code to the actual code of cometchat i wonder i thought the site wide would be good enough ?

You would be better directing this at cometchat support.

Site wide puts the google code onto the page, if thats enough to be able to track cometchat then the code will be there.

I suspect its not enough. Depends on what your trying to achieve though.

Hi@zachary-moonshine,
Not sure what exactly you are looking to achieve, but CometChat does not require any special configuration for GA. As it will load in every page, your GA session will be the same as that in your site page.

its should, but the best idea is always to confirm. view the source code of any page your interested in by hitting ctrl+u in your browser then see if the code you want to be there is there.

Hi

CometChat loads in your site pages, so Google Analytics need to be added to your JR page only. In GA, it will not show them online in any particular page but in all pages of your site.
