investigating iphone front facing photos are rotated

When I add an image by taking a picture with my iPhone's front facing camera (pointed back at you, looking at the screen) it comes in rotated 180 degrees if landscape, 90 degrees portrait. Even if I rotate them first in the phone after taking the photo and then adding them to jamroom, they come out rotated the same way.

I have a feature on a site revolving around selfies so I'm wondering if there might be a fix.

Yeah I think this can be supported - possibly. The EXIF data in the image will contain orientation info BUT it's not always correct, so there's a chance that some images that WOULD have been correct will be rotated incorrectly. I've done A LOT of work with this exact issue recently, and some cameras just do not record the orientation properly.

My camera is one of them, it always gets the image exactly wrong. The rotation show in portrait when the camera is in landscape and vice versa. Its a little broken, I love it for that. :)
