When posting a reply to topic, the reply gets posted, but the copy still remains in the editor box.

We've had a few users reporting this and I've had it happen a few times as well.

What browser are they using?
I've never seen this happen and can't replicate it on FF.

Is this when posting to a forum, or a group or something else, do you know?
I have never seen this as well - it would have to be something that is browser specific, or is happening due to some type of helper plugin.

This is happening when posting to the forum.
I've had it happen to me a while ago but didn't think anything of it. I'll have either been using OSX yosimite with Chrome or Win 7 with Chrome or IE10.

It has to be your browser "remembering" it or caching it for you. Of course if you are doing an UPDATE on an item, then the contents of the item will be pre-loaded into the editor.
