form designer field type suggestion

I would like a field type of formtext or something where you could enter something in the option box and have it then displayed as html output in the form. That way you could break up sections of a form or describe various aspects of a form to your users. HTML should be allowed, if possible.

This is what the "notice" form field type is used for.

Let me know if that helps.

I seem to recall trying the notice field to do that some time ago and if I remember correctly the notice always goes to the top of the form, not the position it is placed at.

I do think you are correct on this - that's how JR's "page notices" work, so we'd have to add some other type of "inline" option if you need it to appear in a specific location.

It would be nice to repurpose the Notice as an inline editor field which you could put in any position(s) in the form. That way you could bring in pictures and embedded media as well.
