investigating jrEvent Notifications

Is it possible to add notifications for events a user is attending?

All of my multiple personalities would like this.

Also, does it count exponentially if I have multiple jamroom sites? They each have their own site.

This is a good idea..getting a notification of there upcoming event..I would love to see this added

Reopening this thread as I notice that the feature request has had 8 votes, so will take a look at it

The original question on this thread is "Is it possible to add notifications for events a user is attending?" but just wondering what use that might be as nothing usually changes after an event has been posted.

What exactly do you eight voters want this feature to do?

It would be nice to get notifications about events you're following/attending; a notification the day of the event. Would be nice if you could output lists in templates like "This Week's Events" and "Today's Events" on a profile. And a calendar; in addition to a calendar of events you've created, also a calendar of events you're following/attending.

like facebook event calendars does ...
that the user can invite other user if they are following/friends and you can suggest via e-mail to other users who not users of your site. also that users of your site can share this event to make promotion for it/in their timeline and so other users can see and can enter the event too and when the user enter the event, it also stands in his timeline with a link, so other users can enter it too - if they want.

with statistic, so that the users of the event can see how many users enter the event or following it / not sure if they will enter the event. also, if you enter/following the event, all will sync to your timeline with statistic too if a friend of you are enter the event or how many people enter this event
