On the users online page in the dashboard there are two buttons, 'Log off' and 'Ban IP'. Both of these are currently disabled so don't do anything.

Is this a Quota setting somewhere to enable these ?

Unfortunately we have the occasionally need to suspend members. We can set their account to inactive but unless we can force the log off ourselves they can remained logged in.

So either the code needs to verify if the user is active on each page call and/or the 'Log Off' button needs to work.

The only disabled/greyed our buttons I see are against my own name, which is correct, of course.
Are you, as an admin, seeing greyed out buttons against other non-admin users?

Sussed it !

I'm testing as different users in different browsers but the IP is same for each user.

I logged in from my phone over the mobile network and I was then able to log that user out because it was on a different IP.

So all happy now :)

Going live next Monday (hopefully) so going through final testing !!

Cool - Another one for the N2JR Wall of Fame hopefully :-)
Remember that when you do your final Ning import you can now set it to grab media files directly from the Ning servers so you only need the 'non-local' Ning archive json files. That should make the whole process a lot quicker.

Will have a go with that when I do a going live run through - should save a lot of time.

On a previous problem with the video imports you mentioned being able to hook up to your conversion servers just for the initial import.

Can we still do this ?

Currently our conversion servers are only automatically enabled for sites using out hosting but let me know when you have done your final import and I'll temporarily hook you up to them (I'll need your admin and FTP logins to do this).
We did plan once to offer conversion services to non JR hosted sites as a subscription service. Might that be something you'd be interested in, going forward, or can your server handle user video conversions itself? I imagine that there would not be that many on your site so maybe that is the case.

If reseting the site completely and doing a full Ning import using this method, be sure to clear the /data/media/0/0/Ning_Media folder as NIng media files imported this way have a different naming format and you might end up with a load of redundent files from previous import(s) taking up disk space.

It would just be a temporary thing as the videos won't import correctly from the Ning import.

OK - Let me have the logins after the final import and I'll get all the videos converted for you.
