I'm not sure what you mean by "not active" - if you click it it will unsubscribe the user from all notifications.

You can edit it User Accounts -> Templates -> Email preferences footer.

Hope this helps!

I mean it's not a hyperlink Brian, it's just plain text and can't click on it.

When JR5 first came out, that unsubscribe link was a hyper link, but soon after with all the updates it just became text.

That should be your email client not turning it in to a hyperlink - none of the emails sent from JR are HTML emails, so none have anchor tags.

It used to be ok before, but not anymore, I don't understand as I haven't changed any of the settings on outlook express and still receive hyperlinks from other website emails.

Yeah I'm not sure what to say - the URLs in the footer have never had anchor tags around them - they've always just been the plain URL. I use Mac Mail here and it makes them clickable for me.

Yeah I'm sure why but this started happening for me since about JR3.

I just switched from Outlook Express to Windows Live Mail, and the links come up as text as well, not hyperlinks, I'm using Win XP.

This only happens to me with Jamroom, from any of my other sites the links are hyperlinks.

Then double check your templates - make sure you are using the default email templates and haven't modified them. They've not been changed here in any recent release, so they haven't been changed by us.

Hope this helps!

I didn't modify these templates Brian, I didn't even know where they are located.

I think it was after the first update to JR5 that the hyperlinks stopped working.

Nothing has changed here in the template - I just looked in our BitBucket and the last time the footer URLs were modified in any way was back on April 10th of 2013. So I'm not sure why you are seeing a change, but it's not from a change in the template.

Sorry!

Ok, thanks, I don't understand why but will just keep using it this way.
