Hi! Just trying out the new site builder - No issue here, just wanted to share my hands on experience .

When I tried the new version, I migrated existing menues from the old site builder and ran an integrity check.

What I noticed is that the horisontal main menu did now show up in slate skin.
The menues were there when you clicked to edit the menues, Submenues three levels down were gone ... and the order of items were changed.

Otherwish, this looks very promising, like the new features very much Thanks

Cheers.

Are the menus there in the jrElastic skin? Might be jrSlate needs an update to make them show up.

I'll go look now.

Thanks very much :)

Slate wasn't ready for the sitebuilder menu, it is now, you can update from the marketplace to get the changes and your menus should appear again.

Hi! A follow up on this.

The menus does appear in header
But there are two menues. One in line with the ACP and the other were it supposed to be.
ALso noticed that all menues were reversed. Menu 1 to the far left created in old site builder
is now at far right and menu 2 seconde to the left of menu 1 and so on.

Change the last is doable - just to change positions, but I thought you wanna know.

Thanks.

When I change order in editor - I can´t save
Sub menues level 2 not transfered from old to new
Can´t create anything below level 2 sub menues.

Still promising! :)

Just updated the marketplace now. The second level of menus are there, they just are not showing.

They should show after you update. I expect that the order is correct now too, If you could let me know that would be great.

@michael - i know this is repetitive, but it's safe to use SB on Slate now? Last week brian disabled mine because he said updates were still needed.

We're fixing issues as we come to understand that they are issues. I wouldn't do it today because your going away, but after you get back you might like to turn it on.

You won't loose anything, worst case scenario is you turn on the new jrSiteBuilder module, that deactivates the old Site Builder set of modules and you see how it looks.

If you don't like it because there are issues, report the issues here so they can be fixed up. If we take too long fixing them up, just turn the jrSiteBuilder module off and the old ones back on to get back to where you are now.

No risk, maybe a bit of bother at worst.

Hi again!

Just want to share some more experiences I have with site builder and Slate skin.

Images uploaded throu embed local media when in maintenence mode does not show up when I set the site to live mode. It shows the placeholder questionmark.

The drop down menues does not work in android phones.(Older versions) Shows main menu level one but no subs...

Just an idea: Can other file formats be able to be uploaded throu embed local media like "Upload a image" instead of using video, audio modules etc? Would be a timesaver for our users when using group support. (And there within keeping the media out of listings and search engines - work in progress and all that - or a private button (Don´t show this on the main site. )

Thank you!
