UPDATE: JPGS NOW attached :)

Originally I tried a couple options for a background image, but it showed through the transparent JR. I tried another "repeat" and that still wasn't what I am looking for.

What I want is attached, so that it repeats horizontally. but I dont know where this would fit into my skin since all the other background are smaller and repeat differently.

Sorry to ask. I've messed with CSS and all kinds of troubleshooting and can't figure this out. attached is my image and an image of what I'd like.

(ok, I cant get even one image to post, much less 2-- basically I want and image to be the length of the screen (I can figure that out) with the horizontal part repeating)

No - your image is not coming through. Make sure it is a JPG image, and click on the "modify" button on the forum post to attach it.

hmm, maybe i need to reboot and start my day over. I made both images jpgs, clicked the update feature, uploaded the new images, says it uploaded and then nothing... i would show you a screenshot to prove I am not crazy, but... will try again later.

This is what I am looking to do for the background. Thanks!

I'm no expert, but I'm thinking you don't need an 'image' or 'image strip' to do this- rather I think you can simply choose the blue color for your site background (which will then appear on the two sides) and white for your main (center) content background. The blue will also need to be applied in your style for the footer and the 'wrapper'. Just my own train of thought on this- maybe I'm wrong.

i will try that again. I tried that somewhere but the site wasn't actually white but transparent. But yeah, I basically want it like this forum is set up. thanks (I think you sound like an expert!)
