Can you please explain this..

Presumably you want to assign a new profile to a 'quota' dependent upon an answer? Maybe you could make possible answers to a question the quota description (ACP=>Profiles=>User Profiles=>Tools=>Quota Browser=>Modify Quota) then when signing up, new users would make the choice themselves.

I have added the profile questions - now how do I assign them to a group depending on their answer?

If its just one 'multiple-choice' question with relatively short answers, put the question in the User language string ID 59 then make the possible answers the quota titles.

I have multiple questions with short answers - each answer puts them into a different group.

Sorry I need more specific instructions.. I don't know where to find User language string ID 59

Perhaps you already know this, but good to know that each profile can only belong to one quota at a time, not multiple quotas.
