I want to use Jamroom hosting to open a Burlesque site and would like to know if this type of content will be ok.

Here is one example of the type of photos that may be added from the end of a performance.

That's no problem - our Terms of Service are in line with Linode's Terms of Service here:

https://www.linode.com/tos

so as long as everything is OK with Linode, we're OK with on our hosting.

Let me know if that helps.

Thanks!

We have discussed this ourselves recently and we (and Linode) would be ok with this type of site.
But we would reserve the right to not to host anything hard-core or politically extreme though.

Does the Linode TOS prohibit nipples? That was a big subject of discussion in the Ning forums....truly!
You can't show the hint of a nipple, or even an areola...on ning! l o l

No - it does not prohibit it - if it is legal than they are OK with it. Like Paul said we reserve the right to not host something we think is going to cause issues for our customers (for example) or for us.

Thanks Brian and paul for this fantastic news, my other half Scarlett is now a very happy bunny indeed :-) We will be starting building this at the end of the month on one of your higher plans so it's nice and speedy. Looking forward to getting this project of the ground :-)

This thread was more coy until you said that Zachary. You can probably jsut read the licenses, feel the vibe, watch the flow, etc.

It's people who will judge you by your content, not software.

What kind of validation are you asking for?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Education, learning resources, TEL, AR/VR/MR, CC licensed content, panoramas, interactive narrative, sectional modules (like jrDocs), lunch at Uni of Bristol. Get in touch if you share my current interests or can suggest better :)

As long as it's not illegal or violates our server provider's Terms of Service (which will get the site shut down by our server provider) it's OK with us. We don't want to get into trying to judge what we think is moral or right as that is a slippery slope.
