With recent updates the drop-down menu no longer functions on iPad. This occurred previousy with updates but was fixed. We are there again.
Also updates are frequently altering the header menus I set up, and causing some links to no longer function.

What skin are you seeing this in?

Thanks!

The Ningja skin.

It happened before but was eventually fixed - same problem I guess.

I just tested here on NingJa and I'm not seeing an issue - what version of iPad are you using?

Thanks!

Alexander- I notice on my iPad, that when I put my finger on a drop down menu item in the top nav bar, like for Videos...if I'm HOLDING my finger on the link then the iPad drop down options take presidence and give me only the iPad options in drop down. But if I merely TAP once my finger on the Videos link, then the JR drop down menu options appear properly (Vimeo, Youtube). Make sure you are not holding your finger down on the link....just give it a single tap to show the JR dropdown options. A double or triple tap should bring you to the primary link location.
Is this maybe the issue?

@strumelia We've been here before... Paul had a fix for it last time (a couple of months back).

I find that the numerous "updates" can cause problems, and rearrange or delete things I have created on the site. It's very frustrating.

Updates should never delete any of your work - make sure all your work is being done on a CLONED skin.

Alexander- another possibility, just mentioning- have you read here?:
https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/forum/new_posts/24957/how-are-you-editing-your-files-on-ftp#last
...if you are customizing your MODULE templates via server level, then your changes can be overwritten when those modules are updated. Just thought I'd mention it in case you were doing that.

here's that text:
Quote: If you want to alter a modules .tpl file, clone the skin and prefix it like this:

"Altering a modules template"
https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/documentation/development/1051/altering-a-modules-template

So the only files you should be messing around with are:
* Modules that you have created
* Anything in your cloned skin

There are ways to alter the way modules other people have made work that will keep them working. For that check out the:

"Events and Listeners"
https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/documentation/development/1011/events-and-listeners

Yeah, don't alter any code directly in a module you haven't build because it will get lost when the module developer updates that module. There are other ways to change stuff so it doesn't break.
