I am trying to understand how to have a global image gallery. My current ning site has a single image gallery where any users can upload up to 5 photos a day. I am struggling to understand how this happens in JR. I have the ningja skin to try out. Ideally would like several main galleries or at least 2, in our case photos and artwork. Any pointers appreciated.

The NingJa skin is already setup to feature a "global gallery". Your users can simply upload images directly from the "gallery" section on their profile.

Hope this helps!

Just noticed 'quota config' for the images gallery has apply to all quotas unchecked, should I check that box?

So Jamroom Quotas are how you control what your users have access to in your Jamroom:

https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/documentation/getting-started/693/the-jamroom-quota-system

So you would only check the "Apply to All Quotas" if you wanted to apply the settings you are viewing to ALL your quotas. You likely don't normally want to do that.

Go to ACP -> Media -> Image Galleries and for EACH quota (selected in the "Selected Quota" dropdown) that you want the "Gallery" option to appear for on their profile, make sure the "Allowed on Profile" option is checked, then save.
