I had a personal account with Arvixe to host Jamroom when I first got started with my site. Email notifications worked just fine when I was hosting there.

I've moved the site over to a faster VPS account with Arvixe and ever since the server change, I've never been able to receive email notifications. I'm sure it's just a matter a getting the correct settings in the Global Settings under email support.

Any suggestions of where to look for proper settings needed on Arvixe or any other tips?

If Arvixe moved you, you should not have had to change anything - I would contact them since their VPS should be setup the same way as your other hosting.

Hope this helps!

Do you know where I should be looking (in cPanel) to make sure I have the same settings (same settings that I had on my first server). I want to open up both cPanels (old server & new server) and make the proper changes.

Unfortunately I don't - we don't use Cpanel, but I would suspect it would be in an "email" or "SMTP" option in your cpanel.

Ok, thanks Brian. I just figured out that all email was going to spam for some reason.

Check your spam filters - but glad at least you found what was going on.

Thanks!
