completed Unwanted line-breaks

When a page or event is created using tinymce editor, unwanted line-breaks are being inserted after every closing tag when the page goes live.
Yet when you view source in tinymce editor, they are not there.
Looks like they are being injected by the HTML purifier.
Is there a way of stopping this happening? - I am currently using template injection to override this bizarre feature ;)

I see this happening as well, there is an additional line break after each paragraph, and also between list items.

This is an issue with the recent upgrade to TinyMCE - I will get a fix in for it.

I have this fixed in the next core release. I'll get a beta out shortly for those sites that want to check it out.

Updated to core 5.2.20 and the line-brek issue continues - was your fix included in this release?

Should have been sorted in 5.2.20. Did you run an integrity check? Which pages are you seeing it on?

Hi Michael.
It happens on the Events item_detail.tpl
I am using a custom template, yet when I changed to the default the problem persisted.
The rest seems to be behaving.

I ran an integrity check and everything is fine.

Still got the issues.
Just on the Events item_detail.tpl
linebreaks after every closing tag, including list-items.

Currently using template injection to overcome this.

I just pushed out Jamroom Core 5.2.21 that should do a better job of fixing this up - update and let me know if you see issues.

Hi Brian,

Paragraphs have been fixed.
Line-breaks still appear after list-items 'li' and headings 'h1' etc.

Update: the line-break has chaged from escaped (XHTML style) to unescaped (HTML 4.01 style) and have had to modify Template Injection to suit. :)

Just updated to Core version:5.2.22 and still getting linebreaks after list items and headings. Will this be fixed soon?

I'm not aware of any further issues - if you're still seeing line breaks than something else is at play. Do you have a link to the page you're seeing it on so I can see it from here?

Can see the issue here. Have added a fix for it for LI elements in 5.2.23. Let us know if you see it happening anywhere else.

Just updated to the latest core and list elements are fixed. However line-breaks still appear after headings e.g. h1 h2 h3 etc. It doesn't affect the appearance come rendering, yet as an anal MF, I find it annoying ;) If you get a chance, I would like it looked into.
