solved play count doesnt seem to be working

Hi

I'm still testing my new install at ukbands.info and i added another test artist today. Both my friend and me have played some songs but its showing as plays and streams 0 . see http://ukbands.info/the-drunken-hobos/audio/6/what-to-do-now

So it should show up for at least 1 play after the caches reset. You could try giving it a move on by resetting the caches and see if that gets it moving.

Another thing to try is to see if changing the skins effects that area. If it does it could be a case of the wrong variable being used in the templates to show the output.

Well thanks for your suggestions but I tried elastic skin and it didn't make any difference . The play count is showing for the other artist on board. I've reset the caches and it still says streams 0.!!!

Remember that JR uses caching, so you're not going to see the play counter increase right after you play it since that page is _cached_. After the cache expires (by default it is 5 minutes) then you'll see the counts.
