No - That works ok on my development system.

Can you detail exactly what you did so that I can try to replicate the issue?

The site only has one forum which is run the admin account.

Using the admin login, if I update anybody else's entry ie 'Pin' the post, then on update it goes to a 404.

The URL for the forum is ***/swift/forum.

The URL the post back goes to swaps 'swift' out and puts in the users id instead eg ***/d-almond/forum/87038/test-post

Swap 'd-almond' for swift and you end up at the correct place.

Feel free to login and have a play around as it's old data in there.

I've just logged into your site as admin and tried pinning a couple of random forum topics and it works ok. No 404s this end!!

Try logging out and back in - maybe your browser has that "cached" - let us know if that works.
