For some reasons after upgrading Jaroom from 5.0 to 5.1.1 teh Disqus Comment module does not work. I disabled to jr commnents same problem.
I have correctly setup the Disqus Shortname, but the problem does not seems to get fixed.
Is anybody else having this issue?
The jr comments work fine, but I would prefer the Disqus on my site.
Thank You

Is the module up to date? See if you can update it or reload it.

When you say "not working" what exactly do you mean? Do they not show up? Only show up sometimes? I would check that you have enabled Disqus comments in your quotas.

Hope this helps!

Disqus does not shows at all at the comments of the user profiles. Yes it is anabled. IN the info section it is setup as: Module URL: 'disqus" Module Category: "users" , Module Active: "Checked". As I stated, it worked fine when I had JR 5.0.. The problem started after I upgraded to JR 5.1.1
Thank You

Is the module active in your Core > Tools > Item Detail Features

The only module that I can see there is "User Comments Item Comments Adds User Comments to item detail pages item_comment"

Thank You

It sounds like you might be running an old version of the Disqus module - have you updated to the latest? If you are running Jamroom Core 5.1.1, go into the Marketplace -> Tools -> Reload modules or skins and reload the Disqus Module.

That should have an entry in the Item Detail Features section, and is probably why it is not showing.

Hope this helps!

GOOD Catch.. the Disgus module could not be found any where in the market place as and independent module.

I still have saved the old version of jr 5.0.0b8 core and noticed the the jrDisqus module was part of the core.
However the new core jr5.1.1 no longer have have the "jrDisqus" folder.

That is correct - the core is very small now (on purpose). Updating is very easy though - like I mention in my previous post:

go into the Marketplace -> Tools -> Reload modules or skins and reload the Disqus Module.

That should update you.

Hope this helps!

That is because you are going to the wrong place - you need to follow the steps I have outlined above.

Here they are again, filled in even more:

1) log in to your Jamroom site as the master admin and go in to the ACP
2) Click on the "Marketplace" module in the left hand menu
3) Click on the "Tools" tab
4) Click on the "Reload modules or skins" button in the Marketplace Tools list
5) to the far right of the "Disqus Comments" module, click the "Reload" button.

You will find all of our modules here:

https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/networkmarket

you can also click on the "Search" button in the upper right of the screen and enter "disqus" and it will show it to you.

please try the Marketplace method I outlined first - it is by far the easiest once you understand how to do it.

Thanks!
