Contact option in profiles

I was wondering if it would be very difficult to add the contact option to profiles, right now someone has to be following you in order for you to contact them, I really don't like the way it is now and was wondering.

The owner of the profile could create a 'page' that lists all their other forms of contact.

email and whatnot.

They can already post their contacts on their profile now Michael, but they don't thinking people can contact them through the site like on any social media site :P.

We've tried to reduce the ways that users can be "spammed" through Jamroom (which was very easy in JR4). I think the way the system is setup is pretty standard now - i.e we modeled the system after how Twitter messaging works.

Are you looking for something that NON logged in users could use to communicate with a profile? Or just logged in users?

Just logged in users Brian, and maybe have them enter some sort of validation before they can send the message, I don't know about most JR sites, but in mine many Portuguese promoters come to my site to hire artists for events, and not having a way to contact them through the site really hurts.

Thanks - I just opened a new feature request for it:

Make sure and vote for it - it's not something I can do today as we have a lot of activity right now going on as we're moving the site today, but I think a small module that makes it easier for someone like promoters to contact the artist would not be too hard.
