Just wondering if I can add a signature in the footer of my posts here in the new forum.

Nope - no signatures on purpose, as their primary use was just for offsite links. If you want to let users know about your JR sites, make sure and add them to the "Sites" section of your profile:

http://www.jamroom.net/ouviste/mysites
