Can you provide any roadmap updates as to what is planned in upcoming releases?

Specifically, earlier this year you mentioned the possibility of supporting s3 might be ready in June. It's October and wanted to see if that is still planned and when we might see it.

Also, is there any planned support for HA or clustering? We were told this would happen once a customer needed it. I can't imagine how long it might take to develop this "when someone needs it", however, I don't want to be the customer who can't handle the load and have no ability to scale. I know you don't think that is a likely scenario, but my JR is heavily customized and I don't think your performance estimates will apply.

Right now S3 work is not progressing, and likely won't be for the foreseeable future - there has been almost no demand for it, and it is a lot of work to create it. I do have an S3 module that is full working with Images however - just not audio and video. If you have a developer working for you I can send you what I have and you can check it out to expand to meet your specific use case.

One thing that will be coming shortly is a dedicated conversion server - that is actually already completed and in testing - this will allow you to offload your media conversion to a separate server.

And for scaling, JR5 should work at this time - the only issue is the file system, so you would need to create a GlusterFS or NFS mount that allows your file system to be mounted across multiple servers.

Hope this helps!

Thanks. Rather than mix up these 3 topics in one thread, I'm going to break them out to separate thread.

Also, I have some questions on the conversion server specific to my implementation, so I may email you separately regarding that and copy Nate who has been working on it with me.

Thank again.

As for the S3 module, I'd be happy to have my devs look over what you have. It might serve as the foundation and have them build it out. Any information you can provide as to why audio and video adds is more difficult would be helpful.
