Which template should I be modifying for adding/removing a page item from the main menu on top in the Sage skin?

Adding page via ACP> Sytem Tools > Skin Menu Editor creates the page under User.

Are you trying to add a page to the main site menu or do you mean the profile menu?

okay I got this!
Need to add menu items in header_menu_desktop.tpl and ACTIVATE it (which I forgot to do hence the changes were not happening lol).
