I have foxy-cart working and it is processing the cart but users can not down load their purchase. Is there something I am missing?

The purchaser will find all their downloads under the PURCHASES tab.

They can get to the PURCHASES tab from a link under their name that should read "Your Purchases".

Otherwise, they should go to ACCOUNT SETTINGS where they change their user details/profile details and the PURCHASES tab should be visible there. There will be a download button.

But these uses do not have accounts they are just fans because my jamroom site is setup for my record label and my only users are the artists. Do the fans have to have an account to purchase music?

Another thing I noticed.. I test a purchase from an artist but when I checked his payments tab it showed no sale for the song.

An account would be created for the fans. They would have been sent an email with their login details.

They would also have been logged in after the purchase and landed on the page where they can download the songs.

Is this because I was logged in as admin and that's why it did not work that way?

If your testing the system for non-logged in users that want to buy songs, then you have to be logged out to test.

I haven't got a test setup environment setup right now to make a video for it, but I'll get that setup and a video made showing the different flows of foxycart.

--update--
for now, make sure your setup is setup like the docs are:

"setting up foxycart"
https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/documentation/modules/2/setting-up-foxycart-jrfoxycart

--edit--
I'll put the flows video here: (link for reference)

Just tried to set this up now, but need to wait for DNS to sort itself out.

One thing I noticed is to check for this in your activity logs:
Quote: jrFoxyCart_webhook: processing transaction id:

That will appear in the activity logs whenever a sale is made. If you think a sale has happened, but that is not in the activity logs it probably means there was an error on foxycart's end.

In this case go check the 'error log' and the 'transactions' in the foxycart admin panel.

The videos are up now:

"jrFoxycart"
https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/documentation/modules/205/jrfoxycart

They show the states:
* Logged out user making a purchase
* Logged IN user making a purchase
* Logged out user (with an account) making a purchase

A logged out customer just made a purchase of 8 songs. I received notification from Authorize that a purchase was made and the amount. I logged into my Foxy Cart account and saw the transaction details. When checking out the artist account that sold the downloads there was no transactions recorded. I emailed the customer to see if they were able to download their songs but have not heard back as of yet. How can I verify that the downloads were successful?

There's no way to actually verify that a user has actually downloaded something without contacting them directly. However, you should be able to go to "users" -> "user browser" and find the user that made the purchase. Then, click on "modify" for that user and then go to the "purchases" tab - you should see their purchases listed (and they can download them from there as well).

Hope this helps!

My customer said that she paid but was never given an option to download the files. She did receive two email receipts but no link to download. I never found her account in the user list either so apparently she did not have an account created for her. This is a serious problem and I need to figure this out a.s.a.p. Is there anyway I can get someone to help me out on this? I am more than willing to pay for the help on this one. Thanks!

Yeah we can move this to priority support if you'd like us to come in and check everything out - you can signup for the VIP support option here:

https://www.jamroom.net/subscribe

alternately I can try to walk you through the areas and settings you would want to check.

Hope this helps!

Yep - you can go right here:

https://www.jamroom.net/ticket/browse/open

and open a priority ticket. You can access that from the "support" drop down as well.

Hope this helps!
