I'm not able to delete items created by non-admin users for a custom module. The error is as attached. is it related to configuration? Please help.

Make sure you are saving the item under the proper _profile_id - this error comes from the jrUser_can_edit_item() function when the user is not allowed to edit the item (i.e. they are not an admin user, and the item belongs to a profile they are not part of).
