solved Invalid User In Note

I was trying to message a user and when I select his name, I get an error "Invalid User - please enter a valid user to send a private note to". I checked his user account and the name is correct. I then looked at his Notifications and I was a bit perplexed by the below.

"new account notify" was listed and I am not sure why that would show for a user?

Anything I should look at for the Note issue?

It looks like there is a fix for this in an upcoming release of the private notes module.

Will keep you updated.

This was a quick fix - I've just uploaded version 1.1.2 of the PN module - update and let me know if you see any issues.

Root cause of this is if you are trying to send a PN to a user who's username is the prefix of ANOTHER user name - i.e. you are trying to send to "brian" and there is a user on your system named "brianj" then it fails.

Should be fixed now.
