Hello,

I was triyng the Guestbook module and i noticed something.

When i sign a guestbook of a profile the counter of the Guestbook ob the profile header is not increasing but instead my profile's Guestbook counter increases with the number of the guestbook that i signed even though no one has singed my Guestbook.

So, i think there is a problem about Guestbook counter on the profile header menu.

Illegal characters in URL

Hello,

I may have a wrong information about that but shouldn't iconv command at jrCore_url_strings function in util.php transform the illegal characters to a similar character in respect to appearance? If it is like that, it is not doing the function it is supposed to do. It deletes the character instead of transforming it. I can get the thing i need done by using str_replace but shouldn't it supposed to do that without my interference on its own? By the way i may have understood the function completely in a wrong way.

Hello guys,

There is a problem with setting the time zone in jrCore. For GMT+2 code setting the time zone Europe/Minsk. But Minsk in GMT+3. If you change that Minsk to another city in GMT+2, for example Europe/Istanbul, I guess it will fix this.

Private Notes Unread Count

Hello,

Acutally i didn't realize this problem before i'm not sure if it had been like this before.

So, when i receive a private note the number of unread notes is shown on home menu. After reading the note and going back to the main page the unread note number still remains the same i mean it comes back.

I am aware that this problem occurs because of the caching. I know that caches get deleted after a while but this situation is still annoying for the user until that time.

Profile Image on Private Notes Module

For example let's say that i create a profile for you in my family tree in the beginning. I uploaded every information and a profile image for you. When the web site is completed i inform you about the web site and i wanted to create a user acoount for you. In this case you will have to upload a picture again to be able to see your image in PN.

In this case, as far as i understood PN module and Genosis skin are not exactly compitable from this point. I think it's not very sensible to tell users that you can have a profile picture but if you want to see your picture in PN you have to upload a user image too. It is very logical to display user image as a profile image when it is uploaded. But as you know the family tree consists of profiles that has no users in the beginning. I will try to change the code of the module again. If i can't be successfull i will remove the user image section from the page because it looks funny this way since the only think you see is an empyt man icon as you are messaging.

Actually i imported most of them from a gedcom file. The other additions i made later on was like "add mother", "add father" "add child" ect.

Would it be possible to add a condition to the module such as use the profile image if the user image does not exist. Actually i tried to change the code of the module but i couldn't make it work

Thanks Douglas, it worked. But there are so many profiles has no user account. When i want to create an account one of those profiles, it will be confusing.

I am using Genosis skin. I purchased the Privete Notes module some time ago. Genosis has both the profile picture and also the user picture. Some users change their user pictures as they were tring to change the profile picture because of that i desabled user picture upload/change section. But Private Notes uses user picture instead of profile picture. So in Private Notes nobody has a picture. How can i show profile picture instead of the user picture on Private Notes module?
