Stream Pay data for profiles

Suggestions

I have never used that module but I would assume there is a total field or something similar which holds the current value. Check the modules datastore and then call it in your template.

Beta 6.1 Updating errors

Using Jamroom

Just thought I'd add this I have noticed updates getting hung up if I click update all, would make it's way though some and then hang, refreshing still shows all updates to be installed, however installing individually updates one by one works fine, everything is updated to latest version including all beta releases.

Error log for today shows the following.

on line 112 [1]
[15-May-2017 22:26:24 Europe/Dublin] PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare jrprivatenote_quota_config() in /home/jamroom/sites/domain/public_html/modules/jrPrivateNote-release-1.4.10/quota.php on line 44 [1]

Android and Apple App

Suggestions

The trend we will start to see over the next few years is that apps in todays sense will start to be replaced by PWA's (progressive web apps). This is defiantly one area where Jamroom could get more involved with in the future, Jamroom already works well as a mobile website, but there are technologies available in the web (ie service worker) to take advantage of native system features.

I don't know if this is an area the team are interested in but it would be a cost/time effective way of going.

I take this as one of those things that you would never miss but really see the benefit of it if it was there.

Forum Feature - Split topics

Suggestions

Hey guys

Having the ability to split a forum thread from any point in the discussion would be a very useful feature to have, ie you edit a thread reply and as the admin you have the option to split topic from this point to a new topic.

Would save Michael having to tell people to post new topics at the very least ;)

my Premium Cometchat disappeared- related to SSL/https changes?

There are a lot of companies out there, that charge an additional fee for an extra year support/updates. the initial purchase normally only includes 12 months and sometimes even 6 months of support/updates. If you're happy with a product this shouldn't really cause any issues.

jrCore_list Filter By Fixed ProfileIDs

Jamroom Developers

you need to add a search parameter to that code, ie something like

search="_profile_id = 1,2,3"

1,2,3 being the profiles ids you want to show

Jamroom 6.1 Beta Kickoff

Announcements

Got all installed, thanks for getting this out. Just a heads up to anyone installing this remember to search the marketplace for the new system tools module after installing this update otherwise certain areas of your site will not function.

I assume this module will be installed automatically with the core as we move forward however.

I will report back if I see anything wrong, but it's been one of "those days" and I have a bottle of whiskey here with my name on it, so if you see any rambling by me tonight you can probably safely disregard as drunken gibberish lol
