Hmmmmm... so if it is unchecked, will researchers still be able to work on it or no? I guess I want to put information in my main tree, but I still want the researchers to be able to work on their respective families. What do you suggest?

I think so. LOL! My default tree is empty, and I only have "research only" trees. Or is it best to merge all the research trees into the default tree and not have separate "research only" trees? How do YOU do it?

Hello! Per usual I have managed to confuse myself.
To move the information into the Main tree and still leave it in the research only tree do I create a gedcom from each research only tree I have and upload it that way? Or is there a different (and better) way? I am worried about the user profile numbers changing. Thanks! Lisa

When I create a new tree, and I do not check the box "Researcher Only" what does that mean exactly? Will the tree only be viewable? Thanks, Lisa

Hi, Brian! Well, that sure makes sense - thank you! How about this: Is there a way to create the event where someone else is linked to it - like the marriage event? Or even like the census event where you can check box all the other people the event also includes? This program ROCKS!!! Thank you! Lisa

Hi, Brian! Loving GENOSIS though I don't get to spend as much time on it as I would like! As I am adding events to an ancestor's life, I thought I would like to add when a spouse/child/parent dies to their timeline, but I am not smart enough to figured out how use the form designer (though I have looked at it).
Will you kindly give me an idea how to go about that? ~ Lisa
